AMD's Energy Efficient and EE SFF CPUs

I'm working on a quick article on AMD's Energy Efficient and Energy Efficient Small Form Factor CPUs and I'd like a bit of feedback from you all. Currently I'm going to be looking at overclocking, power consumption and temperature in comparison to the non-EE parts, but is there anything else you'd like to know about these new CPUs? Performance is unchanged, so there's not much else to look at/talk about. Let me know.

i vote for passive cooling/underclocking test too. these could also end up in laptops, and laptops generally have very restricted cooling capability. the ability to dissipate all heat generated through the frame of a sff or laptop would be very useful.JoshChristie - Thursday, July 20, 2006 - link
Anand,How about testing whether these chips can be passively cooled maybe by underclocking them, if required? Since these chips would be perfect for media center PCs, it would be great to be able to run them fanless.

I don't remember hearing how much the energy-efficient CPUs would cost compared to the "normal" SKUs. If you'd include a price list and release dates, that would help all us green (in the environmental way) PC builders.icarus4586 - Thursday, July 20, 2006 - link
