I just got back from the library lab - I got my chip working for one pass through its 10 stage pipeline. I called it quits while I was still ahead and I'll head back late tonight to make sure it works for multiple cycles through the pipeline, which in theory should be easy now :)
I've been so cooped up lately working on these projects that I have an urge to go out and do something, but I have no idea what. Unless I think of something, I'm probably going to spend the next few hours sleeping. Man, I'm getting old :)
Speaking of which, when I dropped by my old high school yesterday to talk to a couple of favorite teachers of mine I got reminded again that I'm climbing that age ladder. I was talking to my old CS teacher and we were talking about how much of a mess the computer lab was back during my freshman year and this girl blurted out: "wow, 1996? I was like 7." It was the first time I'd ever had anything like that said in relation to a period of my life, it's kinda weird when it happens. Eh, I don't think much of it, other than it is a somewhat strange feeling.
Now it's off to take my early evening nap, maybe I'll get up and play bridge ;)

I graduated college in 1996. It's weird that I'm old enough to say phrases that begin "In my day..."Such as "In my day, a computer with 64K was awesome!"
"In my day, all we had were 16-color graphics, and a disk drive cost as much as the whole computer..."
"In my day, most modems were 300 baud..."
I laugh when people talk about their "old school" NES. Puhleez! Intellivision and Atari 2600, now that's old school.

Hey, in 1996 I was one year *out* of NCSU. Now you make *me* feel old.nowayout99 - Saturday, April 24, 2004 - link
He said a HS student said it. '96 was 8 years ago, making them 15-years-old today. Which is accurate. If they're 25 (17+8) and still in high school, there's a problem.

If you have any spare time, can you jog over to IBM plant in Fishkill, NY and help them get the Apple 970fx chip ramped with high yields? Apple could use your help over there. lol.
