Publishing our first article on Computex gave me that rush that I'd been lacking for entirely too long. Getting truly excited about products as we hear about them, wanting to get as much info as possible and just write up the most interesting article ever so you all could share in our enjoyment - that's what covering Computex is all about. It's great.
Before I left for Taiwan I was honestly somewhat worried that I had lost the interest in covering a show like Computex. The daunting 24 hours of traveling just to get here and being away from my love for almost a full week aren't two things that I was looking forward to. But just like riding a bike (something I never learned to do quite well to begin with, I'd much rather drive a car when I was little :))...
The show has been interesting so far, and I'm hoping to really bring some interesting information to the table today. Derek, Kris, Wesley and myself are all here covering the show, and trust me, we will leave no stone unturned (as is evident by our NV45 coverage from the show).
Derek didn't sleep last night (remember there's a 12 hour time difference between Taipei and the East Coast) as he's been working non stop on the two articles he'll be posting on June 1st. There's a lot of Socket-939 at the show floor, as well as ATI PCI Express cards, so you can probably guess what to expect tomorrow (your time).
For myself, I'm going to hop in the shower and get ready to do some serious digging today. I'll meet up with Kris and Wes to figure out the game plan and head out to try and bring you everything there is to talk about at this show.
I've gotta get to it...it's good to be back writing, it's good to be back in the grind and it's damn good to be back at Computex...ok minus the heat, this place makes Raleigh feel lke Minnesota.

#12, I am NOT talking about the power connector. I am talking about the strange connector on the top of the card that looks like a PCI-E 1x slot.I HAVE gone through the article at least 4 times, and I have seen only 4 questions answered!

I'm curious about how the socket939 Athlon64 scales with more than 1GB of memory. On the Athlon64 (754), memory bandwidth was halfed when going from 1GB to 1.5GB of memory (PC3200 to PC1600). What's the status on the socket939 Athlon64? How much does it actually support?Was reading an article over at firingsquad the other day and discovered that ECC/REG memory is kinda cool if you have 2GB or more. Atleast if the platform supports ECC/REG memory.

#4: What do you mean? Of course, AT's goal is to get as much info. as they can on the latest products at Computex. They also wanted to clear up on Nvidia's NV45 chip. What's wrong with that? I am sure AT would have tried to cover as much as they could if ATi had something like the NV45.If you have been reading this site for sometime, you should realize that AT is one of the most unbiased sites on the net.
Just chill out! If you don't like Nvidia, then don't read their coverage.
